What to see:

Toronto has many different things to see and it can take a long time to see all of the sights. While we spent just one day there, we definitely know that we’d like to visit for a longer time in the future.

What to do:

You can check out some museums, go shopping, visit markets, visit the beach, rent bikes and ride around town. There are a few different cultural areas of town to check out and plenty of different sights to see such as the CN Tower, Royal Ontario Museum, a historic castle (Casa Loma), the Distillery District, the Toronto Zoo, art galleries, the Hockey Hall of Fame, and more.

Who to bring:

This city is great for all types of visits. There’s enough to do to fill a long stay. There are things to do for children and adults. It could even be a fun getaway for a bachelor/ette party or city honeymoon.

How to get around:

We drove and didn’t encounter any issues but there is a great public transportation system here which includes subway, streetcar and bus.

What we did:

We had such a good time experiencing local life in Toronto. Our favorite stops were Woodbine Beach and Park and Riverdale Farm. The beach was beautiful with clear water and there were plenty of people enjoying the summer there. People were swimming, playing volleyball, and taking in the sun. There were others playing hockey and games at the park. Riverdale Farm was so much fun with flower, vegetable and herb gardens to view along with many farm animals to watch. We also enjoyed window shopping at Queen Street.
