I am so blessed to be moving into our first home in just a few weeks. It is getting so hard waiting. My husband and I keep commenting on how much we cannot wait to get out of our apartment. We also keep thanking God for the blessings he has given us and his continued provision. Anyone else feeling thankful lately?

My husband said this reminder in such a great way recently:

Give thanks to the giver of all things. Simple but yet forgotten quite often.

We need to remember that we do not deserve  anything that we have and we do not truly own anything we have either. Everything belongs to God, and I am okay with that. He is all deserving. Remember to worship and talk to God, He loves us.

On another note, find something to release your stress is a healthy way. With all the busyness of getting a new home, and settling into my new job… stress starts to creep in. God wants us to live lives full of joy and freedom, without worry and bondage. (John 10:10, Jeremiah 29:11, John 8:32, 2 Corinthians 3:17, Matthew 6:25-27) Today I went to a few stores to look at flowers and shrubs. I only planned on going to one nursery and that was it but I found the first trip to be kind of relaxing, so I went on to a few more stores and enjoyed my time. Sometimes we just have to stop and smell the roses, literally or figuratively.
